Vendor Guidelines and Checklist

Vendor space is limited and will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis!

All applicants must read and complete the following for consideration:

  • Complete Vendor Application form below and upload all required documents.

  • Do not submit an incomplete application.

  • All Vendors and businesses in participation must comply with all state, county and city regulations regarding the sale of goods, food, and alcohol.

  • All vendors selling goods must show proof of a California Sellers Permit: Link to Obtaining a Seller's Permit (ca.gov)

  • All vendors must provide proof of current Yreka Business License OR complete and upload in the application below: link to Daily Business License Application (the private property section does not apply)

  • Food and Alcohol Vendors: (including pre-packaged foods) must complete the Temporary Food Vendor Packet and submit to the Siskiyou County Environmental Health Department.

  • Alcohol Vendors: Present proof of a current ABC Caterer’s Permit (type 58) and

    Obtain and present an ABC Event permit (type 77)

  • Miner / Broadway Merchants wanting a booth space reserved in front of your business: please email request to sarah@discoversiskiyou.com

  • Upon approval, vendors will be sent a Pay-Pal link from Siskiyou Economic Development to pay vendor fee of $75. Fee must be paid within 5 business days of receipt. (Also applies to non-profits, no exceptions.)

  • Vendors may arrive for set up no earlier than 1:00pm on Saturday, Dec 7th and depart no later than 9:00pm. (Event open to public 4-7pm)

  • Each vendor is responsible for the security of their rented space. They are also responsible for cleaning up their space at the conclusion of the event.

  • Booths must be event ready by 3:30pm and staffed during the entire event. Early break down or departure will not be permitted.

  • Only the items declared in the application may be sold, if a change is made, please contact event coordinator.

  • Vendors need to declare any FREE give away items.

  • Refund of fees for withdrawal will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

  • Power will not be provided to vendors. If you need power or lights for your space, please provide battery operated or bring your own generator for power.
